The first annual Nomadic Roots Music Festival will be the first event held at Augusta County’s new Crimora Park located in Crimora, Virginia. Crimora is just South of Harrisonburg and West of Charlottesville and is near the intersection of Interstates 81 and 64, this location makes it a convenient drive from just about anywhere.

Show on Google Maps

Crimora Park is about 17 acres of beauty located right on the bank of the South River. The area will provide an outdoor stage at the edge of woods hosting music all afternoon and into the evening, and a late-night indie stage that will erupt inside the Community Center, allowing the festivities to trickle into the morning hours. The site is also furnished with restroom facilities that feature running water and flush toilets.

Be sure to bring plenty of food to grub on; we will be providing some food, but come prepared to feed yourself. There is a grocery store ~13 miles down the road so stock up on your way in! Water is available on-site.

In order to respect this space, there are some guidelines:

Because this is a 3-day festival, guests will be encouraged to set up camp and chill out all weekend long, through Saturday night. The camping area is separate from parking area so be prepared to move to your gear to your site from the parking area; we will provide gear shuttles for those in need. Limited parking space is available so guests are encouraged to carpool, and unfortunately there will be no RV camping areas available at this year's festival.

This is a family oriented event so we encourage everyone to bring the whole gang out and enjoy the festivities, keeping in mind that you are responsible for your offspring. Children under the age of 5 will be allowed in for free, and families will be encouraged to camp in the specially designated family camping zone.

The festival grounds are a beautiful space, and we are thankful to have it. Please help us to utilize it properly so we may all have a wonderful time!

Pre-ordering is closed.Tickets are $40 at the gate; day passes available for $20.

Kids 10 and under do not need to purchase a ticket if accompanied by an adult.
